Because Flight Path's sign needed to fit in an existing horizontal light box, using the circular logo would not have been an efficient use of the space. Instead, I expanded the runway element of the logo to utilize all the available space and created custom lettering that is bold and easy for passing cars to see from the road. The design is true to the spirit of the logo while adapting it for the specific medium.
